Disappointed - After taste is off putting!

I am puzzled by the high praise reviews. We just tasted the Maple Pecan Syrup and it was NOT good. There was a after taste and tasted of chemical artificial nuts. I really wanted to like this because my family likes the ChocZero Maple syrup.
I contacted support with 30 days of receipt to return the 3 bottles. They gave me a gift certificate in lieu of a refund. This was another disappointment. There are few things we like on this site and we are already stocked full of Maple Syrup. We don't have interest in trying anything else. I can't trust buying anything new on this site.

Regarding returns, we want to clarify that for issues related to taste, we offer gift cards which allows you to try another product you may enjoy more or order items you already know and love. Only complaint - need a larger bottle! LOL

The bottles are that size because Amazon offers reduced fees for that size, which helps us keep prices reasonable despite rising ingredient and shipping costs.
