Keto Copycat Starbucks™ Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha
Save money and calories by making this keto friendly Starbucks™ lavender matcha at home.

As soon as the weather starts to warm, Starbucks™ releases their delicious lavender drinks. Starbucks™ loves to bring back their iced lavender oatmilk matcha with a sweet cream cold foam that’s to die for. The lavender cream oatmilk matcha is our favorite because it has a yummy floral flavor that pairs perfectly with the nuttiness of the oatmilk and earthy flavor of matcha. It’s the best drink to welcome spring in, but Starbucks™ drinks are loaded with added sugar to sweeten it. That’s why we made this keto friendly copycat recipe for the lavender iced matcha. This no sugar added version uses our sugar free lavender syrup that’s sweetened with monk fruit. Our low carb coffee syrups are the first to be sugar free without artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. The keto lavender syrup is naturally flavored with real lavender, so there’s no synthetic taste to be found here.
It’s surprisingly easy to make the Starbucks™ lavender matcha at home, all you need are a few ingredients and you can make a sugar free version for yourself. This recipe uses oatmilk because it works well with the flavor profile of lavender and matcha. We suggest trying it with the oatmilk first, but you can of course use your milk of choice instead. The real feature of this recipe is the lavender sweet cold foam. If you’ve never had cold foam before, it’s a creamy topping a little like whipped cream. It helps balance bold flavors, like what can be found in a matcha latte! It seems like something you can only get at Starbucks™ but you can easily blend it up at home for a barista worthy drink.
If you want to make the lavender oatmilk matcha vegan friendly, you can omit the cold foam on top that is made with heavy whipping cream. You can also make a vegan version of cold foam with thicker vegan creamers- just be aware of their sugar content. The texture won’t be as thick and whipped as a typical sweet cream foam, but it will be very delicious!

How do you make the lavender cream iced matcha?
Making a Starbucks™ lavender cream oatmilk match at home is easy! You combine matcha with our sugar free lavender syrup and then create the sweet cold foam to pour on top. The cold foam is more simple than it seems, blending together cream and sugar free syrup for a deliciously creamy topping.
How much sugar does the Starbucks™ iced lavender cream oatmilk matcha have?
Starbucks drinks can run high in sugar and their lavender matcha has 36g of sugar. If you’re looking to cut sugar from your diet, making this drink at home makes sense. We use our sugar free lavender coffee syrup to sweeten, so it’s great for anyone watching their sugar intake.
What does lavender matcha taste like?
An iced matcha with a hint of lavender is a slightly floral and earthy beverage that’s perfect for celebrating the beginning of spring. It’s sweet without being overly sweet and is creamy thanks to the cold foam on top. Since this is made with oatmilk, it adds a delicious nutty flavor that compliments the lavender very nicely.
Is matcha powder sweetened?
Some matcha powder is sweetened with sugar, so it’s important to select a matcha that does not have any sugar added in. If you feel that matcha is too strong for your taste buds, you can add a little more of our sugar free lavender syrup or oatmilk. The syrup can add some sweetness without additional sugar and the oatmilk will bring a creaminess to the iced matcha.

What is sweet cream foam and how do I make it?
A sweet cream foam topping is a delicious way to make your iced coffee or matcha more fun! It is made by blending heavy cream with a sweetener and then pouring on top of your drink. You can blend with a hand blender or in quick bursts in a regular blender. In this recipe, we add lavender syrup so that the foam has a unique flavor.
How can I make Starbucks™ drinks sugar free?
Starbucks™ drinks are famous for adding a lot of sugar to their drinks. This can be frustrating for anyone looking to cut back on sugar and carbs, so that’s why you can make copycat Starbucks™ drinks at home. We use our sugar free coffee syrups that are made with monk fruit and prebiotic fiber. Why fiber? It helps keep you full longer, which makes your coffee functional.
How can I make the Starbucks™ lavender cream oatmilk matcha vegan friendly?
While the base of the lavender oatmilk matcha is vegan friendly, the sweet cream foam on top is made with heavy whipping cream. So, if you want this to be a completely vegan treat, you can try thick coconut cream (make sure it’s sugar free) or a barista oatmilk, which would be thicker than usual oatmilk. The texture won’t be exactly the same as foam made with heavy cream, but it should be close enough to make a nice creamy topping.
