Sugar Free Hot Honey

This was the first time my husband and I have tried any hot honey. At first taste, it does taste somewhat like cinnamon candy from the 1980s, however, we both agree that it's more like a taste similar to Fireball Whiskey. This hot honey is very tasty with a kick. My husband loves it too. It doesn't disappoint. We use it straight as a dipping sauce for egg rolls and chicken tenders. I also use it in my Sugar Cookie recipe (half sugar & half hot honey). Sugar cookies with a kick leaves everyone always wanting more.

So far I’ve only tried it on toast with butter and this Hot Honey, and I’m hooked! It was hotter than I expected, but I like that. I’m looking forward to trying it with other foods.

I put hot honey in recipes to liven up the heat!! Works great! My favorite is an Asian Chicken that normally calls for hot sauce and honey! I like really hot so I put it in the recipe without taking out the hot sauce called for and it was wonderful!!!

Just when I was asking myself “when is Choc Zero going to make a Spicy Honey?” And they did! So impressed with this company.

Great taste

First let me say, I've never had real Hot Honey because well, it's honey (sugar) but this intrigued me enough to want to try it. First I tried it right out of the bottle on my finger and like many people, thought it tasted like cinnamon candy, which I was a big fan of back in my childhood, so no problem there. But then I tried it on some air fried Realgood Chicken nuggets and oh my - was it yummy. I didn't get the strong cinnamon taste like right out of the bottle and it had just the right kick for me so I'm thinking others may want to give it another try. I think it's a solid 5 stars and hope the recipe doesn't get changed too much.

I love strong flavor and spicy foods. There is an Asian chicken dish I enjoy that has a spicy honey dip. So good! But since I"m watching my blood sugar, I decided to give this version a try. So good! It's a wee bit different, some have said it tastes more like strong cinnamon than spice, and it kind of does. But when you eat it with savory foods, that goes away and you just get a wonderful sweet/spicy kick. I also tried it on my waffle breakfast sandwich, a turkey patty and egg whites sandwiched between by two mini waffles. I added the spicy honey to the inside of each waffle, and it was a perfect substitute for maple syrup, with a bit of a kick. I'm really enjoying it and my jar is already half empty. Will need more soon. Enjoy!

I have not been able to have honey for years because of the sugar spikes. This product is delicious with the spice and no sugar spikes.
