Vegan Royal Truffle Dark Hazelnut

Not great, and I LOVE the milk chocolate (non-dairy) version of these

I love almost everything by Choczero, but these were a miss for me. My mom got them for me by accident (I had the milk choc ones on my Christmas list, but she bought these for some reason). I actually DO prefer dark chocolate in general, but I like both, and I kept asking for the milk choc ones simply because they were a known "hit" for me and so much like Ferrero Rocher, which I missed. These have a stranger texture and weird aftertaste. Do not recommend. If you can tolerate a small bit of dairy, go with the original Royals. Those are the best thing to change the no-sugar chocolate world in YEARS and have pretty much changed my life. I really like multiple other products by this company (e.g., dark choc raspberry squares, chocolate orange, and especially the mint-filled chocolates). I'm kind of in the "like but don't love" category with the butter cookies (would prefer more of a "shortbread" style cookie) and the peppermint bark (ok but majorly stuck to my teeth) and hazelnut bark (not hazelnutty enough for me, not enough textural contrast). But I figured I should write a review, given that I've now tried 8 products from this company, lol, and have tried lots of other alternatives like Lily's (and definitely prefer Choczero in general.)
TLDR, do not buy these unless you really need to avoid all dairy whatsoever because they aren't nearly as good as the originals.

Delicious Sugar-Free Indulgence!

I served ChocZero Dark Chocolate Royal Truffles at a party the other night, and my friends were astounded when I told them they were sugar-free! They couldn't believe they weren't eating Ferrero Rocher. These dark chocolate truffles are my absolute favorite—simply delicious and a delightful guilt-free treat!

The milk chocolate truffles and dark chocolate truffles are the best chocolates that ChocZero carries (in my opinion). The dark chocolate truffle has an intense chocolate flavor that melts in your mouth, and you are on cloud nine! I love this truffle! I will continue to come back to buy more.

I'm someone who just recently was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I also have been gluten, dairy and pork free for a few years since my body can no longer handle any of that. I've been in search for a little treat other then berries that wouldn't spike my blood sugar (and is dark chocolate). This chocolate has been a life saver for me. I'm so happy you guys exist and I will be purchasing this again soon.
