Not as good as their previous cocoa

For flavor, it gets a 2.5 stars. I'm very glad they brought back a cocoa mix at all, but I REALLY regret buying a bunch of boxes before even trying it. I had one last can of cocoa from last year that I was slowly savoring, hoping they'd restock this season, but unfortunately the flavor just doesn't match up. It's lacking the sweetness and creamy flavor their previous cocoa version had. This version is too bitter, it's not even as good as their dark chocolate squares. I'm confused how they could go so wrong, they do dark chocolate so well otherwise.

Also, it's very difficult to get it the powder to mix into water, much more so than the previous iteration. Powder mixes are difficult to dissolve in water in general, but this one took at least two straight minutes of aggressive stirring. I recommend using a speed mixer of some kind to save your wrist.

Such a great cocoa flavor! I use a combo of hot water and nut milk. then ADD Choc Zero marshmallows, I am in Keto heaven!

it grows on you

Having had other ChocZero products, I was expecting this to be sweeter.
Alone, it's fine - but adding the ChocZero White Chocolate syrup added just the correct amount of sweetness.
ALSO, the amount of fiber... in a hot chocolate!... can't go wrong.

Sweet comfort

Nothing like a good cup of hot chocolate as a decadent treat.

Great for Camping

I love drinking hot cocoa while siting around the fire and looking up at the stars. Tastes great.

A bit disappointed

The instructions for stirring are important to follow because it can result in a "sludgy" drink. I ended up not using it as hot chocolate but mixing the dry mix into some of my smoothies. That worked well.

Sorry instant hot cocoa does clump more! Using a fork or a frother should help with dissolving the hot cocoa. It's great to know you're enjoying it in your smoothies.

RICH HOT COCOA

THIS A GOOD COCOA SUGAR-FREE MIX. I'D NOT USE MORE THAN 8 OZ OF LIQUID.
