Strange taste

I got these along with the mint chocolate flavor. While these were nice and crisp like the others they had the same weird taste to them. Almost like beer. The strawberry creme tasted good by itself but is lost when paired with the cookie. I had such high hopes for these as the chocolate have tried was top notch. I want to try the butter cookies but am afraid they will have the same odd taste.
