I can't tell you the number of times my diabetic boyfriend has lamented about how he misses York peppermint patties. We've tried other chocolates with various sugar alcohols to no avail, they always spoke his blood sugar. We use pure monk fruit for cooking and baking because it doesn't affect him. When I found ChocZero, the first thing I ordered was the peppermint filled squares. I had to take the package away from him a he ate 5 squares in his excitement to have chocolate back in his life.
