Dissatisfied

The candies arrived melted in a flimsy zip-lock bag. I have never experienced such poor packaging. It was almost offensive. In addition to that disappointment, the taste was not the greatest.

What the! So good!

These are now officially my favorite ChocZero candy! I put them in the fridge when they arrived and just had one... then another... and another. The chocolate is thick and tasty and the peanut butter is soft and yummy! I just read some of these reviews and some people didn't like them at all. What??? Guess each person has their tastes. But to me, these are insanely yummy and i'm sad its a seasonal item! Gonna stock up right now!

Flavor

I ordered a bunch of ghosts, about 80% of which melted, but that’s a story for another day! (The shipping…location and number of ice packs in comparison to how big the box was…simply makes zero sense to me. That’s for all 3 orders I’ve placed in the summer…in AZ. It’s a problem and I’ve reported it each time). I managed to salvage most of a ghost from the blob in the ziplock bag and it had the oddest flavor. I went back a few days later to see if it was just me, and no, I was actually able to place it as almost having the undertone of the cherry chocolate. I’d bought those and disliked them because the cherry flavor is way too strong. (Just brought them up to my mom, who loves chocolate covered cherries.) Even if they’d arrived intact, I wouldn’t have liked them. (A few boxes of milk survived and I also tried a peanut buttery blob of the white, and both had good ‘normal’ flavor.) I’ve been ordering since 2019 so I am familiar with the flavors and the iterations of peanut butter formulations over the years. The ghosts have always been a favorite so I am surprised. (I must note, I love this company, Rhea, the customer service team, their mission and their dedication. Buy their products!)

We're really sorry to hear that your last order melted. Our warehouse does their best to insulate every order, but Arizona's summer temps can sometimes be too much for our goodies, sadly. The amount of ice packs in an order is determined by shipping location and number of perishable products/size of an order. We use larger boxes to ship as carriers sometimes put the smaller packages inside of mailboxes, despite our clear perishable warnings. Just not good

I'm so very disappointed in these. They taste awful. The peanut butter is watery and have a gros flavor. Definitely not a fan and sadly I purchased 2 boxs of these and 3 of the milk chocolate assuming I would love them because I usually love everything Choc zero makes. These Definitely missed the mark :(

I love the milk and white ghosts so much and decided to try these. Don’t get me wrong, they were good. It’s just I don’t like them as much as the other too. I know they weren’t individually wrapped when I bought them, but I wish they were. It seems they may have held up better as they were all on top of each other and the peanut butter was seeping out of them. I’m so glad I did get the opportunity to try them, but I won’t order them again. I will stick with white and milk.

Not my preference for taste.

I absolutely love ChocZero products usually. These had an unpleasant taste compared to the other Milk Chocolate and White Ghosts. Also, i love the dark chocolate penut butter cups. Maybe because they're vegan? Packaging was an issue, but the company explained why. They really stand behind their products. Sorry to leave a not so stellar review, but I wouldn't be sad if these didn't come back.

Huge miss

Unfortunately I got four of these because they sell out so fast and this was a huge mess. I was hoping that their peanut butter would be the same consistency as the peanut butter baking chips and well this peanut butter is very smooth, the taste is off and there's way too much of it. They would've done a lot better if these were smaller with less peanut butter.

Great taste, not so great packaging

Great taste but not so sure if my packing was done by mistake. The milk chocolate and white chocolate ghosts are individually wrapped however, the dark chocolate ghosts were in a ziplock bag with no wrapping. Causing them to break and mix into blob. Was this meant to be shipped like that? Still satisfied with the rest of my order.

The reason for this is that the seasonal wrappers have never arrived at our factory and we've had to choose between destroying chocolate we've already had or put them on sale so that customers who enjoy dark chocolate can have a seasonal treat. We didn't want to waste chocolate, so we've decided to put them up for sale without individual wrapping. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Great taste but disappointed in the packaging

I'll start by saying that the taste is really yummy! But I bought these and the milk chocolate ghosts. The milk chocolate ghosts are in individual wrappers while these are all in one big bag inside the box. Many of the vegan ghosts were broken, I would imagine because all the ghosts are hitting each other in the box since they don't have seperate wrapping. It's a little disappointing since these are specifically fun shapes. I am however very glad to have something that is dairy free!
