At some point I believe the recipe changed from the early versions. Whatever happened there is now an earthy dirt-like undertone that is just too off putting. Same with the plain white chocolate squares. I still have the white chocolate chips so no biggie. I just order that instead and if I feel like it, I can melt them and pour them into seasonal silicone molds for a bit of fun.

Choczero's squares are one product that is generally consistently delicious. This is true of this Cookies and Cream version. The creamy white chocolate paired with the cookie flavor and texture is a yummy combo. My one criticism is packaging. I preferred the bagged package from earlier times. Now, the individual squares positioned in plastic molds and more plastic covering counters ecology mindfulness and are also more difficult to open. It may be that the squares keep the candy's shape if melting occurs or the package is jostled during shipping? At any rate, I would think foam "peanuts" or paper filling might be less expensive and better for the environment than current packaging.

They taste so good, it is hard to put the box down.

So sweet and creamy. Just the right amount of cookie. Satisfies the sweet tooth.
