I'll have to agree with the low stars here. This could have been SO much more flavorful but was nothing more than "sugar" in my coffee. This is not the first time I've noticed this scenario with other items from Choc Zero. I do love many of their products but have been equally disappointed in flavor expectations. I keep ordering because they are the best company out there for sugar free products. But I do wonder sometimes how certain products get past their taste tests and onto production from the test kitchen when they could be so much better.

Great for coffee!

I wasn’t sure how this one would be but I am happy that it turned out so good! I love gingerbread flavor for the holidays and bought to make coffee or hot chocolate with it. It adds the perfect gingerbread flavor to my drinks!

Doesn’t taste like ginderbread

When you open the bottle and smell it, it’s smells like ginger bread. But for some reason has no taste in coffee. Just tastes sweet. That’s all.

Disappointed

So what happened here? Did I draw the straw on a shoddy batch? Mine is nothing better than a sweetened flavorless syrup. I'm not even sure what flavors they were going for here. It's so weak. At least I can salvage this syrup for any of my low carb/baked goods. I don't see how it would interfere.

I don't want the hassle of a refund, so they can enjoy the profit and I'll continue to speak-up when something doesn't work.

Edit: To be sure, I shook the bottle and brewed a light roast this morning. Still no change. It's flavorless to me. Goodluck with this one.

True Gingerbread Joy!

One of my all-time holiday favorite flavors is gingerbread. Going low-carb, no sugar, it seemed like this flavor was off the list for me. But finding this syrup has made me so happy! This really tastes like gingerbread and totally satisfies! Now I can enjoy a perfectly spiced gingerbread latte again. I have been thinking about trying it with other things for baking but haven't yet. Maybe put some in low-carb pancakes or muffins?! I hope you keep this in the permanent collection!

We were so excited for this, I don’t know if this was the first year, but I hope it comes back every winter. We bought the pumpkin, cinnamon dolce, gingerbread and caramel and we have been making the best hot, iced and cold foam lattes. I even through some in a keto pumpkin cake I made and it was great. We love all the syrups!
